Why have there been already so many scandals when the Hindu New Year has begun only from 22 March 2012 ---was the question of someone doing astrology but not much of mundane astrology ? Such a huge downpour of scandals?
Yes, he was right. It is so striking. That will be the story of the whole New Year which will include bank and sex scandals also. Even judicial personalities and religious leaders will not escape its impact this year.
The eighth house factor. The eighth lord and the eighth house is the house of scandals in astrology. See in the New Year horoscope how many planets are connected with the eighth house and its lord, and the sixth house and its lord.
1) Mars retrograde in the twelfth house is the third and eighth lord aspecting Sun, Moon, Mercury the lagna and the tenth lord.
2) Venus and Jupiter are in the eighth house aspected by retrograde Saturn in the second house.
3) Except Rahu and Ketu all planets are connected with the eighth house and its lord.
Why defense scandals?
4) Mars, the planet of army is the eighth lord of scandals aspecting the sixth house of defence.
5) Saturn, the sixth lord of defense is aspecting the eighth house of scandals.
6) The involvement of the sixth house has to bring in courts of law and the affliction of the ninth lord, Venus the judiciary. Clearly await, as the New Year progresses, more and more scandals involving some judges, some religious personalities and of course, the resulting, shock.
It is so clear. Now what happened so far? “India’s defense budget has grown in recent years – to nearly $38bn for the fiscal year beginning in April. As it works to replace its ageing military hardware, India has now become the world’s biggest arms importer, replacing neighbor China in the top slot.”
Gen V.K.Singh, Indian COAS, has bombarded India as no general before him has ever done, perhaps, partly out his personal frustration and also because he has a rare reputation of impeccable honesty. On the point of probity, the present Indian government at the center is at its lowest and the general stands tall with his moral stature.

Army Chief drops another bribery bomb, asks CBI to probe top Lt Gen
Ritu Sarin: New Delhi
1) First, it was the offer of a Rs 14-crore bribe for the purchase of trucks that he attributed to his former colleague Lt General Tejinder Singh.
2) Then he sent a letter to the Prime Minister on what he called were glaring gaps in the Army.
3) Now Army Chief General V K Singh has lobbed yet another “corruption bomb,” this time in the court of the Central Bureau of Investigation. He has brought out a May 2011 letter he received from Trinamool MP Ambika Banerjee and asked the agency to probe the MP’s complaint against Lt General Dalbir Singh Suhag. Lt Gen Dalbir Singh is commanding the Dimapur-based 3 Corps and is in line — after Lt General Bikram Singh — to be the Army chief.
The forwarding of the MP’s letter to the CBI is set to open up another can of worms. For, the MP has made a series of allegations of “procurement scams” in the “secret” Special Frontier Force — when Lt Gen Dalbir Singh was its Inspector General — including alleged payoffs for the purchase of night-vision devices, communication systems, weapons as well as parachutes.
The MP has also named Army officers, including a former Army Chief, who he has alleged received crores in kickbacks for defense procurements and amassed huge disproportionate assets. These issues, he said, have been raised by him in letters to the Government. Banerjee has also named agents who he claims dealt with these procurements.
The Army chief’s latest “complaint’’ reached the CBI headquarters yesterday, barely a day after a team from the agency visited the South Block office of the Army Chief to commence the probe into the bribery charges made by him. It arrived in the form of a covering letter signed by General V K Singh, requesting the CBI for a detailed inquiry into Banerjee’s letter.”

4) And what might have been the daddy of them all, the biggest scam since Indian independence is the Coalgate but the report of the CAG has not been submitted yet (29 March) and the report is that instead of “loss” the word now going to be used is “unintended benefit” which gives a chance for spokesman of the government to indulge in casuistry of words, labyrinthine logic, circumlocutory explanations. The opposition parties will ask who the beneficiaries are. There will be whispers that some percentages of those “unintended benefits” were deposited in the accounts of (???) in foreign banks. It is Delhi, a city without a sense of humor but world’s strongest sense of rumor.
Those who draw historical parallels are reminded that when our poor defense preparedness was exposed in 1962 with the war with China we had as our defense minister, Krishna Menon. Now, when Gen V.K.Singh has exposed it in 2012 we have a defense minister from the same state. What then can happen can be summarized here.
1. Mars aspects the tenth lord, Mercury along with Sun and Moon indicating serious trouble to the government of UPAII led by Manmohan Singh leading to some changes, affecting the position of the prime minister himself.
2. Saturn’s aspect on Venus and Jupiter in the eighth house is an indicator of bank and sex scandals. It is a bad year for jewelers, those dealing with precious metals.
3. Add to it the rare phenomena of Venus transiting across Sun on June 6, 2012 and a conclusion that be drawn is that the present UPA II government will be tottering , suffering more mortal blows that it has so far. The same phenomenon which had favored in June 2004, will reverse the trend in a clear and definite way.
4. After, unexpected and heavy rain after 20 May 2012, some fear of scanty or even natural disaster, a pestilence or an epidemic can cause serious worry for the nation.
5. Chinese threat

DNA exclusive II: Army chief on the China threat Thursday, Mar 29, 2012 By Saikat Datta | Place: New Delhi | Agency: DNA
The government believes it is more important to find how General VK Singh’s letter to the prime minister became public than addressing the problems highlighted by the general. Apart from tanks running low on ammunition, an obsolete air defense and an infantry short of critical weapons, China — it seems — was at the forefront of the general’s mind when he wrote the letter on March 12.
The letter has specific references to the Indian Army’s lack of preparedness vis-a-vis China and it speaks volumes about the bureaucracy that is least bothered about modernizing India’s defense.
“China is unabashedly going ahead with developing infrastructure on the Tibetan Autonomous Region (TAR)”, but the Indian Army’s presence is “far from satisfactory”. In fact, the army chief took great pains to explain to the prime minister that “there has been no perceptible difference in the state of hollowness” in India’s military preparedness.
While the letter has no reference to any operational issues or secrets, it talks of an unspoken truth that has dogged the country and the military since 1962. The military then was woefully unprepared to tackle hordes of Chinese sweeping through Arunachal Pradesh, the eastern parts of J&K and considerable stretches of upper Assam. And the picture is still the same: the army is still ill-prepared.
Experts believe the military disaster during the Chinese aggression in 1962 had a lot to do with Jawaharlal Nehru’s — the then prime minister — faulty “forward policy”.

In the Chinese horoscope Saturn Moon (August 2011) period will be followed by Saturn Mars, (will end in May 2014) one is the seventh lord and the other in the seventh house. It clearly shows the aggressive mood of China. How well is India prepared to face it? Is Nehru’s blunder going to be repeated when Krishna Menon his defense minister dismissed any threat from China which he thought was an excellent friend of India. Strangely, the defense minister of 2012 hails from the same state as Krishna Menon.
Underground wealth
Not scandals alone but underground wealth is what these combinations reveal. I had already hinted at it. Every astrological combination has a positive side also.
I had written:
IS ANNA HAZARE MOVEMENT FIZZLING OUT? KN RAO (Written on 5th January 2012)
“But the demand, the clamor and the threat of some agitations of bringing back Indian money in foreign bank will not die down as the Hindu New Year horoscope with three planets along two-eight axis shows. On the brighter side, it does show some discovery of deposits of precious metals.
It is a difficult year still with Mars in the twelfth house and Saturn in the second, flanking the lagna. And both are malefics and both retrograde. A secret plot against India, mainly of terrorists denoted by Mars here and afflicted ninth house with the ninth lord going into the eighth house, is ugly indication of communal issues coming to the foreground. The Naxalite movement, subdued at the moment after the killing of Kishenji, will reappear with renewed vigor is what can be concluded.”
Naxalite movement in Maharastra has grown stronger and they have killed twelve CRPF men in the month of March 2012. But then come to the other prediction on the brighter side, it does show some discovery of deposits of precious metals.
Now comes a report : The Telegraph January 31 , 2012
Tamar leads in hunt for gold reserves -
OUR CORRESPONDENT Ranchi, Jan. 30:
Tamar promises to be a veritable goldmine with deposits of the yellow metal surpassing 7 million tonnes, Geological Survey of India (GSI) explorations have revealed, a finding which may be a windfall for the state.
....“The Centre has granted top priority to exploration in Jharkhand,” he said. “Tamar in Ranchi, Chandil in Seraikela-Kharsawan and Potka in East Singhbhum are key sites to hunt gold deposits, but Tamar seems to be the forerunner.”
.....but numbers are now around three times higher, thanks to more intensive projects.
........ Singh pointed out that for 2012-13 fiscal, exploratory jobs would be carried out 4 in 18 different places to locate magnetite, lime-stone, kyanite, granite, phosphorite, iron ore and manganese deposits in the state. He added that the sale of ...... had already earned the state Rs 9 lakh. But it is chicken feed compared to what it may earn from the goldmine in Tamar.

New gold and copper deposits found in India Hint of significant gold and copper deposits have been found in Rajasthan, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh, with the gold reserves believed to be world class. Author: Shivom Seth, Posted: Monday, 06 Feb 2012 http://www.mineweb.com/mineweb/view/mineweb/
More than five hundred billion dollars are deposited in foreign banks by Indians, said the director of CBI. And there have been rumors involving some well-known Indians, of Indian and non-Indian origin. The agitation to bring that back and the act of bringing part it will take tortuous course of law, evasion, deception and evasive tactics by many.
But concentrating on unearthing rich material and mineral gold as reported, including oil and gas to reduce our dependence on foreign oil is necessary and the year 2012 is a significant year, a year to be remembered as I had already predicted on 6 January 2012, for unearthing precious minerals and metals. The shattered and dispirited UPA II government can bring some cheer to the nation and lift the ominous gloom spreading so much and so far.
And remember also, like the torrential downpour of scandals at this moment, there will be actual downpour, unseasonal, in the second fortnight of May, after 20, which farmers will not welcome which meteorologists will report, not forecast.
