G20 summit held in India has addressed several issues very successfully. Vasudev Kutumbkam meaning ‘One Earth One Family One Future’, was the theme of the summit; it should be the motto of all beings on this earth. African Union has been included in the summit for the first time. Many countries unanimously signed documents on so many issues; despite differences on Ukraine issue, there was 100% consensus on New Delhi declaration; Global biofuel alliance has been made. India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor will be developed. ‘Sabka saath sabka vishwaas’ -has become a global mantra now. India plays a major role, a decisive role on the world pedestal now.
Some periods become periods of pride for the nation. The last month has been such a period of achievement and recognition for our country. Space programs have brought glory to India. With Chandrayaan-3 landing on Moon successfully on 23 Aug 2023, India becomes the first nation to land on Southern side of Moon. The whole nation watched the landing while our hearts swelled with pride. Aditya-L1 has been launched on 2 Sep 2023 effectively and we have to wait for some months to see the results. India running the vimshottari dasha of Moon-Venus, both dasha lords placed in the third house of travel and communication, taking us to Moon, towards Sun, is marvellous indeed. 11 July 2016, 5:59 PM

More than a decade ago, an IAS officer, an astrology student of ours, asked me to see the horoscope of his son a Ranji trophy player of his state. I advised him to ask his son to concentrate on his studies and make a career, mostly likely in a bank. That boy is now a bank officer and the father is a relieved man. Nearly one year ago, in teaching about hobbies as seen astrologically I advised students never to encourage their children to think even of taking to sports as a career as in India only a few hundreds can earn out of games for a life time and that too in cricket, badminton and tennis from the prize money they get, while others fail in their education and also in sports field ending up miserably. read more...

You are very right about the risk of playing sport in India. Only 1 in a million can achieve great success Our main sport cricket is totally corrupted inside out. The loss of Sindhu is acceptable and expected and her effort to be saluted. Now the rot is complete with politicians heading sports bodies.The worst is the media now chasing Sindhu and putting needless pressure on her. Astrologically, more needs to be observed. I have studied closely many world level sports horoscopes and some trends emerge relating to Mars, 6th house, 3rd house their respective lords but the key issues debatable are ...

Predictions about the outcome of matches in games and in competitive events in sports by astrologers is still in a primitive stage is what needs to be stated clearly at the outset. The reasons are two mainly in India: the older generation of astrologers like late Dr.Raman and Hardeoji never ventured into this area, perhaps, not treating it as an area of mundane astrology or not being interested in exploring this area though sports had come to have a definite sway in Indian public life in the last days of their lives. read more...
