G20 summit held in India has addressed several issues very successfully. Vasudev Kutumbkam meaning ‘One Earth One Family One Future’, was the theme of the summit; it should be the motto of all beings on this earth. African Union has been included in the summit for the first time. Many countries unanimously signed documents on so many issues; despite differences on Ukraine issue, there was 100% consensus on New Delhi declaration; Global biofuel alliance has been made. India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor will be developed. ‘Sabka saath sabka vishwaas’ -has become a global mantra now. India plays a major role, a decisive role on the world pedestal now.
Some periods become periods of pride for the nation. The last month has been such a period of achievement and recognition for our country. Space programs have brought glory to India. With Chandrayaan-3 landing on Moon successfully on 23 Aug 2023, India becomes the first nation to land on Southern side of Moon. The whole nation watched the landing while our hearts swelled with pride. Aditya-L1 has been launched on 2 Sep 2023 effectively and we have to wait for some months to see the results. India running the vimshottari dasha of Moon-Venus, both dasha lords placed in the third house of travel and communication, taking us to Moon, towards Sun, is marvellous indeed. 30 May 2016, 6:46 AM
In the last twelve years of my service in I.A.A.S. from where I retired as Director General in 1990 I had interacted with top political leaders of India in different ministries and mostly in the meetings of the Public Accounts Committee. But more people came to meet me at night to consult me astrologically at my residence. I went to the houses of four politicians for different reasons: to the house of late Dinesh Singhji to meet some old and experienced astrologers on his invitation: to late Charan Singhji when he was the prime minister for astrological consultation twice when he had expressed a desire to meet me and to the house Shri Natwar Singhji to meet a remarkable Irish psychic. Only two or three astrologers did full time mundane astrology in earlier decades, late Hardeo Sharma Trivedi and Dr. B.V.Raman. These days only Gayatri Devi Vasudeva has been doing it in her magazine and there are some new names who dash off what they think are mundane predictions while they are only guesses. One of them who dashes them off through the internet and sends them to some individual emails writes with lot malice as he did recently giving a very fatal and totally hateful prediction about the end of India’s External Affairs Minister, Shrimati Sushma Swaraj. read more...

Can Narendra Modi who made many elections promises fight all this system and achieve something ? He is doing it in national interests within these limitations and can achieve something because he is incorrupt and incorruptible which is what cannot be said about any other political leader of other political parties. In appraising the national politics these should be kept in the mind and not approach all these with a closed mind as astrologers have been doing. We will have to wait to see what actually Modi achieves because as an incorruptible man he alone can achieve what all others have failed to. read more...

Mohammad Ali was not merely a great boxer but much more than that as he resembled India’s freedom fighters of pre Independence India and modern India’s spirited and principled activists. To call him a great boxer is to ignore the other facets of his personality showing him to be proud anti white agitator.
