TRAILANGA SWAMI - II
In 1810, Raja of Ujjain paid a visit to Kashi. He along with Kashi Naresh, was on a boat going towards Manikarnika ghat when he saw the shining figure of Swami sitting on water. On inquiry, he was told about the extra ordinary powers of the saint. The King was very impressed and as if sensing his wish to see him, Swami appeared on the boat. The King was glad and showed his extra ordinary bejeweled sword to him. The saint did not even think for a moment and threw the sword in water. When the King got in a fit of rage and grief, Swami put his hand in water and extracted two similar swords from the water. He asked the King to recognize his sword, which he obviously could not do. Swami told him sternly that he was troubled for the sword when he could not even recognize which one was his sword. That was his way to show him the futility of the physical attractions of the world. read more...read more...
JALLIANWALA BAGH MASSACRE
One year more than a century has passed, still no one has forgotten the brutality with which the atrocious killing at Jallianwala Bagh was carried out. Jallianwala Bagh is located at a distance of barely one and a half kilometers from the Golden Temple in Amritsar. On 13 Apr 1919, on the day of Baisakhi (an important Hindu festival) at 5:37 in the evening, when more than 10,000 people (some say there were 15,000 to 20,000) were gathered in the Jallianwala Bagh, acting Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer ordered to shoot at the unarmed, innocent public.

WHY SO MANY HIGH PROFILE CASES?

Why is it that suddenly so many high profile cases are in news, I asked Sh. K.N. Rao Sir. Rao Sir explained the same to me through the New year horoscopes and told me to write an article for the same along with some important features of the chart.

In the New year chart, Mars and Mercury are conjunct in lagna, as lagna lord and third lord, as Tax raid and tax complication lagna lord and sixth lord, as eighth lord and third lord, as eighth lord and sixth lord.

Hindu New Year 2017

a) The Press in India may have some dispute with the government as Saturn 10th lord, placed in the 9th house is aspecting the 3rd house of communication and 6th house of disputes.

b) Achievements in space will be remarkable as usual. Also bad railways, bus and air accidents.

c) Lagna lord and sixth lord together should be the main focus of attention as sixth house has Jupiter aspected by four planets.

d) Mars and Mercury combination is a well known combination for Tax raids of all types, Income tax raids, excise duty, customs, sales tax. Extending the Jaimini principle of Mars being Amk and Mercury being DK, Tax raid and tax complication ill involve India’s famous people. Through out the year, tax raids will be in news.

e) Mars and Mercury are aspecting the 7th house as the 3, 6 and 8 lords so the border tensions with China and Pakistan will increase.

f) Every time government decision will be challenged in the court of law as the
10th lord in the 9th house is aspecting the 6th house. Public controversies, disputes and many strikes are possible.

g) The 9th lord Jupiter placed in the 6th house is retrograde aspecting Sun, Moon and Venus(R) placed in Meena and is in turn aspected by Saturn from the 9th house. Jupiter and Sun indicate temple, 4th lord Moon is construction of a building, so we can expect some  decisions regarding the same. Jupiter is 9th lord of judiciary in the 6th house of court of law and 10th lord Saturn aspecting it from the 9th house, indicates the strong government interference in the Ram janama bhoomi case. Muslims of Babri committee may go to a level where they may challenge the relics of Hindu temple from the archaelogical department.

Saturn is aspecting retrograde Jupiter which in turn is aspecting retrograde Venus from the 6th house of court cases showing the challenge to the archaeological evidence and the decision by Allahabad High court.

h) The 5th lord of our youth is conjunct with the 7th lord in the 12th house aspected by Jupiter, so Love Jihad and Anti-Romeo drive will gain momentum.
So many planets influencing the axis of court cases, sixth house of court cases, ninth house of judiciary and twelfth house of outside interference, all are disturbed. This is a very crucial year for the High court and Supreme court decisions

HIGH PROFILE CASES
Since in Pakistan, same lagna rises, though with different navamsha, there also focus is on High profile case which we know is Panama Gate case involving PM Nawaz Sharif.

Coming back to India, we have the following High profile cases:

- Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi involved in National Herald case, an ongoing case filed by Subramaniam Swamy, regarding non-payment of interest free loan of 90.25 crores granted to the company by Indian National Congress.

- Lalu Prasad Yadav and his many children involved in many cases.

- Arvind Kejriwal involved in so many controversies, first with 97 crores that he spent on advertisements, then with his own people turning against him.

- Case receiving national attention is the Triple Talaq case of muslim women. Supreme Court panel listening to this case, in all fairness, consists of five people of five different religions - Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh and Parsi.

In 1985, justice was made available to Muslim women, when maintenance was granted to a divorce victim Shah Bano. She was a 62 year old woman with five children, who was divorced in 1978, she thereby filed a criminal suit, won alimony; but subsequently Rajiv Gandhi amended the constitution, the judgement was reversed and alimony denied under the influence of Islamic forces. This was the famous Shah Bano case.

Since these cases are before the courts of law, astrological judgement about the outcome of these cases is not indicated here except saying that Triple Talaq case is likely to be in favour of Muslim women, though it will not fail to cause many public agitations, because of the concentration of planetary focus on the sixth house.

Important point to note in this horoscope is that the 9th lord of judiciary is in the 6th house aspected by Saturn, 10th and 11th lord, which clearly means dragging important people to the court of law. Saturn is also the 11th lord showing that the cases involve the money matters.

Interestingly, this may be noted that none of this is done with malicious or vindictive motive.

As it happens that Concatenation of circum- stances has suddenly brought all these cases together before the court of law in this year only when except Rahu and Ketu, all planets are connected with 6th house or 6th lord. But, in the birth chart, navamsha and dashamsha, Jupiter’s influence on the 10th house clearly shows no bad intention.

Apart from that, 2nd, 4th and 5th lord in the 12th house are aspected by Jupiter from the 6th house. On the positive side this brings in some foreign investment. On the negative side, some sensa- tional disclosure about accounts in foreign banks will become public. Here, Moon and Jupiter represent bank.

Jupiter and Venus aspect each other, Mars aspects the 7th house. In navamsha, Mars and Venus together clearly show that the most burning topic will be of Triple Talaq only.

As the year progresses, we will have an occasion to discuss Surya veedhi and Paksh charts also.
