G20 summit held in India has addressed several issues very successfully. Vasudev Kutumbkam meaning ‘One Earth One Family One Future’, was the theme of the summit; it should be the motto of all beings on this earth. African Union has been included in the summit for the first time. Many countries unanimously signed documents on so many issues; despite differences on Ukraine issue, there was 100% consensus on New Delhi declaration; Global biofuel alliance has been made. India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor will be developed. ‘Sabka saath sabka vishwaas’ -has become a global mantra now. India plays a major role, a decisive role on the world pedestal now.
Some periods become periods of pride for the nation. The last month has been such a period of achievement and recognition for our country. Space programs have brought glory to India. With Chandrayaan-3 landing on Moon successfully on 23 Aug 2023, India becomes the first nation to land on Southern side of Moon. The whole nation watched the landing while our hearts swelled with pride. Aditya-L1 has been launched on 2 Sep 2023 effectively and we have to wait for some months to see the results. India running the vimshottari dasha of Moon-Venus, both dasha lords placed in the third house of travel and communication, taking us to Moon, towards Sun, is marvellous indeed. 30 November 2015, 9:22 AM
There is that law of karma---the deeds done in the past must come to haunt you sometime or the other be it the life of an individual or a nation. Imperial powers of Europe must remember it when dealing with the people of the colonies they exploited for centuries and now talk of their democratic system and enlightened societies with their so called high values they want the world to remember. In this process the Christian Europe forgets its own villainous past of vandalism and its present economic imperialism. read more...

India’s television channels, never reliable for what they cover as news, never showed this piece widely and repeatedly and only one channel debated it--a clear historical echo of invading armies and foreign rules, first Muslims and later the British, the French and the Portuguese who never tolerated anything Hindu and Indian, ancient here, pure and spiritual. The hypocritical politicians of opposition forgetting the carnage in communal riots of Bhagalpur, Muzaffarnagar and of Gujarat of 1969 all under either Congress rule or of other non BJP governments have now suddenly that intolerance has increased in India now with the clear aim of embarrassing the Modi government.

The terrible noise that the National Herald case has created in the parliament and in the media, particularly the English television channels is described by the political parties as a case of vendetta by the Congress party or only as a court order by the BJP .The Nehru family, particularly Sonia and Rahul, have to answer in the court of law beginning from 19 December. read more...

World’s most polluted city is no compliment for Delhi. But series of political events in Delhi in the month of December, more comical, farcical but blown beyond limits of sanity kept us amused and disgusted. It was all high drama ending mostly in fiasco. Ironically the only good and pleasing event in recent weeks has been the match winning spin of Ashwini and Jadeja against the South African cricket team.
