TRAILANGA SWAMI - II
In 1810, Raja of Ujjain paid a visit to Kashi. He along with Kashi Naresh, was on a boat going towards Manikarnika ghat when he saw the shining figure of Swami sitting on water. On inquiry, he was told about the extra ordinary powers of the saint. The King was very impressed and as if sensing his wish to see him, Swami appeared on the boat. The King was glad and showed his extra ordinary bejeweled sword to him. The saint did not even think for a moment and threw the sword in water. When the King got in a fit of rage and grief, Swami put his hand in water and extracted two similar swords from the water. He asked the King to recognize his sword, which he obviously could not do. Swami told him sternly that he was troubled for the sword when he could not even recognize which one was his sword. That was his way to show him the futility of the physical attractions of the world. read more...read more...
JALLIANWALA BAGH MASSACRE
One year more than a century has passed, still no one has forgotten the brutality with which the atrocious killing at Jallianwala Bagh was carried out. Jallianwala Bagh is located at a distance of barely one and a half kilometers from the Golden Temple in Amritsar. On 13 Apr 1919, on the day of Baisakhi (an important Hindu festival) at 5:37 in the evening, when more than 10,000 people (some say there were 15,000 to 20,000) were gathered in the Jallianwala Bagh, acting Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer ordered to shoot at the unarmed, innocent public.

FATAL FEBRUARY AND MAD MARCH 2014

To begin the story from the very beginning of the story, look at the Hindu New Year horoscope of 2013. There is the ominous crowding of planets in the eighth house with Mars, the ninth lord in it. The ninth lord of religion in the eighth house has been the indicator of the conspiracies against religious leaders this year. Television channels have over played it showing them to boost their TRP and for some other reasons which we often discuss privately.

The year has witnessed so many mass tragedies starting with the Kedarnath landslides and so many deaths. Then sea storms have been devastating.

Worse, the ninth lord in the eighth house and the affliction to the ninth and third houses have been bad both for the communal situation and the media and the press. The Tehelka episode involving Tarun Tejpal is hitting headlines as I write this  (22 Nov) and the famous journalist known for sting operations now stung himself with a sex scandal has given a chance to his enemies and critics to talk about it gleefully in television programs, human nature being what it is.

But how is Hindu Year going to end, in the coming months of February and March 2014 as the new Hindu Year 2014 will start only at the end of March only?

Twenty nine  years ago, when Saturn was transiting into Tula and particularly Vishakha Nakshatra I had hinted at a research of mine in the letters to the editor column of the Astrological Magazine of  December 1984 written and sent in September.

The issue was available in the first week of November when India was shaken in the bloody post Indira Gandhi assassination fortnight. Sikhs faced a bloodshed which they cannot forget ever.

Saturn is there again and in February and March 2014 Mars will join the present Saturn Rahu combination there. In March Mars will also be retrograde. I am reminded of my prediction of 1984.

But all that has to happen has to be seen in the light of the ominous Hindu New Year horoscope of 2013 discussed earlier and predictions given.

The next Hindu New Year will begin on 31 March 2014.Then there is a solar eclipse on 29 of April 2014 visible in India.

Hindu New Year 2013
The Hindu New Year 2013 with an ominous eighth house and Saturn and Rahu  in the third house aspected by Mars and a bad exchange of the tenth and the eighth lords have already shown enough of what was seen and predicted. We have had mass deaths, communal riots and everyday news about the threat to the life of one individual Narendra Modi.

What should be noticed is particularly the fact that the threat in such a combination can be and is, to many more? In the absence of the authentic horoscopes of many they cannot be pointed out and even if we had them, we would refrain from pointing it out in national interest except warning that such danger lurks. It is more so when Saturn, Rahu and Mars transit over Jupiter in the sixth house of the Indian Independence horoscope.
But see the horoscopes for the months of February and March 2014 before the Hindu New Year of 2013 ends.

February March 2014 Horoscope
Three malefics in the twelfth house in both horoscopes is the indication of foreign conspiracy to create mayhem in India as the nation prepares for the general elections.

It is going to be important general elections with Modi representing a view which pseudo secularists and some non-Hindus oppose and protest against.

Then the attempt to involve some dignitaries in sex scandal as the axis along the eighth house shows is another danger. Top men in public life should keep themselves away from temptations and traps.

In March, both Mars and Saturn retrograde with Rahu is not pleasant. Violence with some foreign origin and conspiracy is what the nation and intelligence services should guard against.
