Shri KN Rao has illustrated his 7- Step Approach discussed in his article Jaimini Astrology-1, by analysing the horoscope of Queen Elizabeth II. Horoscopes of two former Prime Ministers of India Chandrasekhar and Rajiv Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi will also be analysed using Jaimini Chara Dasha.
read more...Lost in wilderness, shrouded in the ambiguity of aphorism and interpreted in arbitrary fashion by astrologers with genuine to fraudulent claims, Jaimini astrology will continue to baffle astrologers for many more decades. What then should be the approach of an astrologer in genuine search of working and workable Jaimini methods tormented me, as it must have many astrologers. I therefore evolved a seven step approach.
When in the prime of your career depending on what you do, if a dasha ends and another begins, one should be prepared to see a change, the end of a career possibly, if one is at one’s height, after one or two antardashas in the new dasha end. In the case of Jawaharlal Nehru his Rahu dasha gave him three humiliating antardashas and saw the end of his career.
Look at the career of Federer. In the dasha of Saturn he won his grand slams in so dominant a way that he seemed to have no challengers who could topple him from his topmost position though they could win one of two titles against him. Till 2009 the French title was eluding him.
Horoscopes of Roger Federer and Virendra Sehwag
In 2003 he won one grand slam. In 2004 three grand slams. In 2005 two grand slams In 2006 three grand slams In 2007 three again It brought the total to twelve and the
Saturn dasha was ending. I wrote about the end of his era as in Mercury dasha, even if he won two or four title, as was not unlikely, his dominance could not have been like the last part of Saturn dasha.
In 2008, he played so badly that he won the US title with lot of difficulty when his nemesis Rafael Nadal lost to Andre Murray whom Federer defeated in a lack lusture final to clinch his thirteenth title.
In 2009, history repeated itself when Nadal lost what was supposed to be his monopoly, the French title, and Siderling the conqueror of Nadal reached the final and lost to Roger Federer again in a lack lusture final.
It gave to him his fourthteenth title and he equalled the record of Pete Sampras who called him the greatest tennis player of all time. The only challenge Federer had on his way to the final was from Del Potro of Argentina who is going to challenging the top players of world tennis in coming tournaments.
Federer winning this title is explainable through astrology. From 31 May 2009 the chara dasha was of Dhanu Makar Karka from where the Amatyakaraka Venus aspects the tenth house. In transit Saturn on his tenth lord Venus in the lagna and Jupiter aspecting his tenth lord from Kumbha is a favourable double transit helping him achieve a title from a weak opponent
This favourable period continues during the coming Wimbledon contest. The light that has to burn with dazzling effulgence will cause a daze and the greatest tennis player of all era in the toughest era of keenest competetion, unlike in the period of Rod Lave or Pete Sampras will retire or fade out after one or two antardashas of Mercury. His era has ended but his dazzle has not.
Virendra Sehwag (Cricket Player)
Watch a parallel in the case of Virendra Sehwag. From 26 Nov 2008 the mahadasha of Jupiter started in the case of Virendra Sehwag and the pratyantara dasha of Saturn started from 10 March 2009 after which an injury sustained by him has put his future career at risk. It is again a case of dasha change, called dasha chiddra leading to a change for which one may not be prepared mentally in most cases and physically if one is a sportsman like Federer or Sehwag.

I was injured in IPL, admits Sehwag 10 Jun 2009 TIMESOFINDIA.COM NEW DELHI: Virender Sehwag, who was ruled out of the ongoing Twenty20 World Cup in England, admitted that he was injured while playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in South Africa.

Dear Raoji
As you have rightly observed and published , Chara dasha of Dhanu causes great falls (as well as rises?). R.Federer did face downfall and set-backs.
Can this victory(French Open) be attributed to 9th lord mercury(from moon) being in the 10th. This victory is rather a ‘’mental’’ victory as success of Roger in general is considered. Mercury is also the dispositor of Rajayoga forming planets (Sa & Ju) and moreover has attained dashamsha in its rashi of exaltation. Transit wise , things were excellent Jupiter is in the 5th from Moon, aspecting lagna, moon, 10th lord and 4th lord.
Saturn the 6th lord is in 11th from Moon , aspecting Moon, and thereby its exaltation place.
What were the points considered by you for a retirement. Can we expect his retirement during Me-Ke ?. Me too personally feel he may not play for long as compared to – say Agassi etc.
Respect
Pradeep
What I had written earlier was:
"As in December 2007 he will be reaching towards the end of his Saturn Dasha decline will become visible in some form or the other’
2010 seems to be the end of his career in Chara dasa of Jaimini. His dream of playing for another eight or ten years may be a dream, which may not be fulfilled. His decline will become visible from December 2007, as early as that.
All this coincides with the dasha of Makara in Chara dasha from where Amatyakaraka Venus falls in the eighth house. It is in the Dhanu dasha with Atmakaraka in the eleventh house of achievement aspected by the Amatyakaraka that he has reached his peak. In Makar dasha, he will begin to fade out.
(11 September 2007)
The point I had stressed was the period of decline, not failure to win some titles , particularly the grand slam titles.
