Worldwide, every devotee of Lord Sri Ram is eagerly waiting for the day. Grand and majestic, heartfelt celebrations are in the pipeline, just like when Ramji came back from exile. REMEMBERING WITH GRATITUDE

The long journey of 500 odd years, the struggle, the fight for dignity is finally coming to rest and a jubiliant mood is setting in. In two days, on 5 Aug 2020, Ram janma bhoomi pujan will be done by PM Narendra Modi. With so many events down the line, numerous people involved, countless sacrifices, the right to build a temple at the birth place of Lord Sri Ram has been restored. At this time, we are giving some a fair share, by acknowledging their participation; but some worthy ones are being totally forgotten, it is for those forgotten ones that I wished to write.

WIMBLEDON 2008-FEDRER FAILS TO CREATE HISTORY

The rivalry between Nadal and Federer will be the greatest in tennis history was the opinion of the erratic tennis genius of Russia, Marat Safin. It was so absorbing that I saw on my television only in parts the Asia Cup Cricket Final between India and Sri Lanka.

Fortunately, before the tennis final began, I could see Jai Surya play his great knock and I reminded myself that he is 39 and has greater ease in his sixers and fluent stroke making than some well known youngsters in world cricket.

Borge playing his sixth Wimbledon final against McEnroe is what some tennis commentators reminded us of and drew parallel how Roger Federer of 2008 was like Borge of 1981, recovering from a bout of sickness and after losses to   relatively less important players in other tournaments before appearing to capture his sixth Wimbledon unsuccessfully.

Nadal puts Federer on the ropes a headline in the Manchester Guardian appeard too premature and hurried as in the third set Federer was fighting when rains intervened. In the meantime another headline in Manchester Guardian may have pleased Englishmen.

Joy over Britain's Wimbledon champ
At last Britain has a Wimbledon singles champion - and she is only 14. Laura Robson became the new sensation of British sport yesterday when she won the girls' event with a gutsy performance that promised great things for the future.

In the meantime I came back to the cricket match and find Indians who boast of being the best players of spin bowling did not know how to play BAW Mendis the new sensation of Sri Lanka who with Muralidharan makes Sri Lanka a team to fear in future now.

A woman who follows cricket remarked the other day that M.S.Dhoni had become arrogant and had been talking against senior cricketers like Dravid and Ganguly and wished that he loses more matches now. After that India lost to Pakistan in the triangular matches and is now losing to Sri Lanka.

Dhoni does not know how to play Ajanta Mendis! The required run rate is climbing. There is every chance of India losing (10 pm 6 July night 2008).

Ajanta is showing most colourful spin bowling seen after ages and has staggering figures of six over six wickets and only nine runs!! India deserves to lose and Dhoni’s arrogance should be shattered.

There should be two MEN OF MATCH awards , one brilliant Jayasurya and the other for Ajantha Mendis.

The Wimbledon finals has not begun yet though it is 10/21 pm IST..

The play is resuming . It is 10/41 pm.

India is all out and has lost to Sri Lanka and the overpaid fat pigs of Indian cricket have failed to bring a trophy back to India.

Nadal is fighting back in the third set and the score is in favour of Federer. Nadal has fought back and the score is five games all ! That is thrilling tennis and for Federer a fight to survive now! And remember he is World No. One (10/49 pm IST)

It is six games all and now tie break ! It is brilliant tennis by Nadal (10/54 pm IST).

Federer wins and so another set to see what happens! (11/03 pm IST) I have Federer’s horoscope and it is better today than it was during the French finals. But then someone should collect the horoscope of Nadal for astrologers to watch this great tennis rivalry for their own research.

Nadal is leading 4-3 in the fourth set (11 /28 pm IST). Five games all at 11/40 pm (IST)!! Nadal leads six games to five 11/43 pm (IST). For Federer loss of the next game will be loss of the Wimbledon crown with Borge watching it and remembering his own sixth appearance fiasco. Another tie break ? Yes.

And Federer has always done well in tie breaks as far as I can remember. Can Nadal break it ?

Nadal is leading 5-2 in the tie break !(11/52pm. Then a double fault and it is 5-3 still in favour of Nadal. Borge is looking inscrutable from the stands and his long straight line on the middle of the forehead is like an Iyengar’s Vaishnava mark.

Nadal leads 8-7 11/59 pm and is serving now !! Federer fights back and leads 9-8 and is serving and wins the tie break !!

It is most amazing and thrilling tennis I am witnessing after ages it appears and Federer world number one is fighting back for his survival against world number two on his own most favourite court, Wimbledon.(12/02 am) of 7 July 2008 when communists of India are to enact a hilarious drama of pulling out their support to the UPA government without causing its fall.

The deciding fifth set now and is worth waking to watch this great tennis who will be legends after some years- very great legends. It is two games all in what is becoming a collosal contest and the score is two all and forty-forty with Federer serving but rains intevene again.

The game locked at deuce ! The play has been suspended.

It should be as it is, palpitatingly dramatic, swinging from one uncertainty to another, Federer hoping to create history, Borge watching with bated breath and critics comparing the Borge McEnroe rivaly, Sampras -Agassi rivalry but Safin calling this a greater rivalry and thanking his stars that he is their contemporary which he would be able to tell his children.

What do they do in such circumstances---meet tomorrow to play the remaining games of the final set ? There will be no light.

They do not play flood lit tennis at night to decide in such cases I think. Do not know.

It is 12/49 or 00/49 of July and players are back to complete the remaining part of this thrilling contest. Borge-McEnroe tie break, they are showing had reached 17 all in the fifth set and are now back to the play.

01/06 am & July  2007. It is four all now in the final set !!

Federer is leading 5-4 in the final set I am enjoying it all unlike those spectators at Wimbledon betraying their nervousness palpably.

The third set ended in a tie in which Federer always does better. Also the fourth set. Now the final set with 5 all and 15 all is reaching its climax (1/17 am.)

Federer is leading 6-5 and near creating history which Borge failed to do. 01/19 am of 7 July 2008

The fifth and last set has also reached a climactic thrill with Federer leading 7-6 in the fifth game but Nadal is serving (01/29 am.)

Federer has served his twenty sixth ace to save the situation--his service and aces save him. It is 7 all and again deuce but Nadal has won it and now leads 8-7 01/39 am.

It is, as the English saying goes, a sight for Gods in the longest final of four hours and forty one minutes as the commentators are saying.

The score is 40-30 in favour of Nadal (01.44 am) in the then 40-40 and then advantage to Nadal.

I was wrong, Nadal made history and Roger Federer has missed it as Borge had. I was right overall astrologically that Federer had reached the point of decline and today Nadal proved it. That is plain astrology when you have correct horoscope as I have of Federer.

I wish I had correct horoscopes of Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh to predict properly for India’s confused situation. There I have missed some important predictions.

Yes, after Manuel Santana, another Portugese, Rafael Nadal won it after forty two years. Rafael Nadal has won Wimbledon final.
