TRAILANGA SWAMI - II
In 1810, Raja of Ujjain paid a visit to Kashi. He along with Kashi Naresh, was on a boat going towards Manikarnika ghat when he saw the shining figure of Swami sitting on water. On inquiry, he was told about the extra ordinary powers of the saint. The King was very impressed and as if sensing his wish to see him, Swami appeared on the boat. The King was glad and showed his extra ordinary bejeweled sword to him. The saint did not even think for a moment and threw the sword in water. When the King got in a fit of rage and grief, Swami put his hand in water and extracted two similar swords from the water. He asked the King to recognize his sword, which he obviously could not do. Swami told him sternly that he was troubled for the sword when he could not even recognize which one was his sword. That was his way to show him the futility of the physical attractions of the world. read more...read more...
JALLIANWALA BAGH MASSACRE
One year more than a century has passed, still no one has forgotten the brutality with which the atrocious killing at Jallianwala Bagh was carried out. Jallianwala Bagh is located at a distance of barely one and a half kilometers from the Golden Temple in Amritsar. On 13 Apr 1919, on the day of Baisakhi (an important Hindu festival) at 5:37 in the evening, when more than 10,000 people (some say there were 15,000 to 20,000) were gathered in the Jallianwala Bagh, acting Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer ordered to shoot at the unarmed, innocent public.

NEPAL: THE WRITING ON THE WALL ---now fulfilled

In the accession horoscope, retrograde Saturn in the fourth house aspecting the tenth lord Jupiter cannot save the throne of the King of Nepal. That is the writing on the wall.
(Written on 24 April 2006)

A very bright student of astrology in our classes in the Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan who topped was from the Indian Foreign Service and while doing brilliant research in our research classes, expressed a desire to do lot of research in mundane astrology which interests very few students is what I know from my experience. He was transferred suddenly and had to discontinue his researches. He was posted to Nepal and I do not know where he is now. I wish he had passed on  to me some important horoscopes of Nepal’s dignitaries. It is our neighboring country which we remember mostly because of Pashupati Nath temple and of course rudraksha beads. And of course since the British times, Nepal is remembered for the great Gurkha fighters.

Most of the people doing mundane astrology do not like to go into various aspects of national and international life and politics. For this they need the background of international and national history, politics and latest developments and events. These astrologers are mostly ill read and  they therefore confine themselves to doomsday predictions like earthquake, deaths and end of politician’s life or career.

It is for this reason that we astrologers struggle with wrong data or lack of data and land in wrong predictions for which we should not be blamed. We are still struggling to get the horoscopes of Manmohan Singh, Musharraf and now the horoscope of the King of Nepal who loses all as was seen by me on the basis of the coronation chart---a very risky approach though it was. The prediction made since 2006, repeated in September 2007 are now fulfilled with Nepal declaring that it is becoming a republic.

The hidden link in a prediction
In such a prediction there is an element of a chancy hint available in one area of a horoscope which gets linked to another. This has always been an interesting experience of my researches. You see some possible event in one area of a horoscope from there jump into another and then begin to see a total prediction with many links. Let me give some instances.

1) I saw in the case of a son of a friend of mine who was well settled in a government job but not married, purchase of a vehicle for a child in the next two years. What could it mean? Surely a marriage and child soon after for whom a perambulator would be bought. But he had come to ask a question about a promotion. I predicted both. Soon after my prediction, his marriage was fixed, he had a child and the vehicle for the child.

2)Same thing happened in the case of Charan Singh who was Indian prime minister. In 1978 when Morarji Desai had dropped him from his cabinet, people almost wrote off his career a he was past seventy four years then. I saw an official car. Working from there, I predicted his comeback from January 1979 which had pleased him and he had called me twice to his house as the prime minister to ask further questions.

Nepal Coronation Horoscope

In the case of Nepal, I had no horoscopes of the ruling kings. But when I got the time of the coronation, I decided to make it a basis. I noted the following points.

1) Eighth and tenth lord together in the lagna aspected by retrograde Saturn from the fourth house. And it is the dasha of Venus, the third and eighth lord 13 June 2003.

2) In the dashamansha, Venus as the tenth lord goes into the sixth house aspected by the twelfth lord Moon. The fourth lord here is aspected by the sixth lord Saturn. There is some dispute relating to the throne, (Simhasana) the fourth lord. In the case of a king it can be loss of kingdom or the throne as I have seen in many horoscopes of ex princes of India.

3) Therefore, I decided to concentrate on Chaturthamsha. Here again the fourth and sixth lords are together and Saturn aspects the tenth house. Saturn is mass movement.

4) I clinched it with the help of Jaimini’s Chara dasha. Mithuna dasha starts from February 2006 and it as Atmakaraka showing the danger. Worse, from here both Amatyakaraka and Gnathikaraka falls in the eighth house. When Kumbha dasha is reached, both Amatyakaraka and Gnathikaraka will fall in the twelfth house. That is siren of death which will be heard when the antardasha of Meena which is Karakamsha is reached. The worst that had to happen has happened now. Read this.

Nepal to be declared republic, Maoists to rejoin government
The SPA (Seven Party Alliance) leadership in Nepal, finally making a 23-Point Agreement has agreed to conduct the Constituent Assembly elections by the end of this year (April, 2008) and to declare the country a federal democratic republic. The decision to declare the federal democratic republic will however be endorsed by the elected bodies at the first meet of the Constituent Assembly. The provision for the early ouster of the King by the 2/3rd majority votes in the interim parliament remains intact in case he is found indulged in activities aimed at foiling the CA election.

My comment
The last Hindu kingdom in the world now will disappear. This was a risky prediction based on the horoscope of coronation but it clicked so well.
