Dravid’s achievements in the world of cricket were sort of overshadowed by the presence of so many greats in the Indian team but no one could ever think of leaving him out of the team. Such was his aura that he had virtually become indispensable for the cricketing world, be it any form of cricket. In 1999, Glenn McGrath is believed to have been said if there was one Indian player who would get an automatic entry into an Australian team filled with stars, it would be Rahul Dravid. How many times have we been told that mere combination of Sun and Jupiter in a horoscope creates rajlakshana yoga and here in his chart, we find, Sun and Jupiter together and that too with lord of Kendra and trikona and importantly we have five planets in the tenth house from Moon with all those planets aspecting his tenth house.

Acknowledge the fact now that the Congress party has no leader with a charisma, no star but sycophantic starlets dancing round the dynasty and portraying it as faultless. Two other factors ail this party: the first is the ailment of Sonia Gandhi described as undisclosed but everyone says privately that it is cancer. The more damaging, the other factor is the news circulating of her being the fourth richest politician of the world. The fall of the dynasty is also explainable. If the post of the prime minister is treated by Rahul Gandhi as his personal sinecure it hurts people deeply. It is his immature manner and his failure to deal with the universal corruption gumming up India’s political, bureaucratic and business activities that should be said to the main reason for the dismal failure of the dynasty in recent elections.read more...

Indian politicians have so far followed and obeyed the planetary time table, but have been upsetting the nation which happens in a democracy.
Since Mars retrograded, we have seen many political googlies and the running verbal battles between Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh against Narendra Modi. Democracy is the noisiest form of government with the media reeling off unconconfirmed stories with glib talking anchors of Indian television with their gibberish day in and day out.
In the print media, we have no journalistic giants as editors.The special correspondents have been coming out with their partisan and planted stories. The nation is on tenterhooks.
Sardar Manmohan Singh, Indian prime minister, is bent upon precipating a crisis to the utter discomfiture of the disheartened allies of the UPA goverment he heads. Members of parliament want to avoid a poll early disturbing their comfort and sleep. Ofcourse the BJP has cracked a joke when it said “ Manmohan presides and madam decides.” What will the Madan decide now?
The sardar wants to go ahead with the nuclear deal at any cost. USA wants India to conclude it and has been aggressively bent on persuading the Indian government to take the risk.... which may mean facing a mid term poll.
The CPI(M) and its hard speaking Karat has delivered a verbal karate blow by telling the government to either end the deal in December or face mid term poll. That is of course retrograde Mars in Mithuna directing the CPM operations (under Chinese instigation is what is being said.)
China has been giving India trouble on the borders and with Saturn in Simha, has too many uncomfortable plans against India with its poor preparations to defend Indian borders. And this Saturn is preparing to retrograde on 19 December. Two planets will be retrograde then. Externally, China on the Sino-Indian borders and internally the permanent agent of China in India in the shape of CPI(M) are the looming threats visible, one military and the other political.
Jawaharlal Nehru wanted to become another Ashoka the great without fighting the battle of Kalinga and committed a literal Himalayan blunder between 1954 and 1962 when China reduced his Panchasheel to dust and disgraced him.He died a miserable man, struck with paralysis after the humiliation of the Indo-Chinese war of October 1962. But he never had the grace to resign and retire.
