ISLAM IN AFGHANISTAN (Part IV)
Well, the caste system was duly prevalent in India. In the times of Ashoka the Great, after the massive war and numerous deaths in Kalinga; Ashoka, full of remorse took comfort in the religion of non-violence viz. Buddhism. Buddhism spread far and wide in the Indian subcontinent (as discussed in third part in our series of articles on Afghanistan). But, if the whole society becomes Buddhist, where are the fighters to defend the nation? Afghanistan and Sind, two Frontier provinces of India, all turned Buddhist, with no Kshatriyas to fight and protect the nation. With Afghanistan and Sind, depleted of fighters, there was no one to save the nation against the invasion by invaders. read more...read more...
AFGHANISTAN'S HISTORY OF INVASIONS (V)
How is it that Afghanistan invaded India so many times and Afghanistan was not attacked as many times. When theft is committed, it is committed in the rich man's house. India has always been known to be a very rich country whereas it was not the case with Afghanistan. When Afghanistan is not a rich country, where is the question to invade it? read more...read more...

SATURN RETROGRADING (DEC. 19) AND THE FUTURE OF MANMOHAN SINGH

Indian politicians have so far followed and obeyed the planetary time table, but have been upsetting the nation which happens in a democracy.

Since Mars retrograded, we have
seen many political googlies and the running verbal battles between Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh against Narendra Modi. Democracy is the noisiest form of government with the media reeling off unconconfirmed stories with glib talking anchors of Indian television with their gibberish day in and day out.

In the print media, we have no journalistic
giants as editors. The special correspondents have been coming out with their partisan and planted stories. The nation is on tenterhooks.

Sardar Manmohan Singh, Indian prime
minister, is bent upon precipating a crisis to the utter discomfiture of the disheartened allies of the UPA goverment he heads. Members of parliament want to avoid a poll early disturbing their comfort and sleep. Ofcourse the BJP has cracked a joke when it said “ Manmohan presides and madam decides.” What will the Madan decide now?

The sardar wants to go ahead with the
nuclear deal at any cost. USA wants India to conclude it and has been aggressively bent on persuading the Indian government to take the risk.... which may mean facing a mid term poll.

The  CPI(M) and its hard speaking Karat
has delivered a verbal karate blow by telling the government to either end the deal in December or face mid term poll. That is of course retrograde Mars in Mithuna directing the CPM operations (under Chinese instigation is what is being said.)

China has been giving India trouble on
the borders and with Saturn in Simha, has too many uncomfortable plans against India with its poor preparations to defend Indian borders. And this Saturn is preparing to retrograde on 19 December. Two planets will be retrograde then. Externally, China on the Sino-Indian borders and internally the permanent agent of China in India in the shape of CPI(M) are the looming threats visible, one military and the other political.

Jawaharlal Nehru wanted to become
another Ashoka the great without fighting the battle of Kalinga and committed a literal Himalayan blunder between 1954 and 1962 when China reduced his Panchasheel to dust and disgraced him.He died a miserable man, struck with paralysis after the humiliation of the Indo-Chinese war of October 1962. But he never had the grace to resign and retire.

Moon in Kumbha with Rahu aspected by Saturn in the tenth house of Indian Independence horoscope, and Jupiter and Sun in Dhanu aspected by Mars in the eighth house on 16 December do not show any stability of the UPA government.

In the absence of the horoscope of
Manmohan Singh, it is difficult to know how he will be affected. But a sound guess can be hazarded.

Will he resign  ?

That is the secret signal of planets. A shaken and humiliated Manmohan Singh  who is said to have offered to resign many times may resign finally which will please some of the Congress stalwarts who missed the chances of becoming Indian prime ministers under the execution of the dynastic plans of Sonia Gandhi.
For them it is an opportunity of a lifetime.

Indian history will move with shocks and
jerks in the second fortnight of December.

Retrograde Saturn will have the last laugh.

Mars of course decides what it plans to do in a fell swoop and remember he is in Mithuna on which Sri M.S.Mehta produced a major research elaborating my old research of 1985.
