WITHERING AWAY OF CONGRESS PARTY
Is ours an ideal democracy!! Hardly so, it is far from being an ideal democracy; where there should be  two equal opponents, like Conservative and Labour party in Britain; like Republican and Democratic party in USA. As for India, for the two major parties here i.e. Congress and BJP there has never been a state of relative equilibrium. There was a time when Congress was all powerful for a long time, BJP had not come into existence then. BJP came into existence and gradually spread its wings and the status now of present election result on 23 May 2019 is that BJP alone bagged 303 seats and 353 seats along with its NDA Alliance. Congress on the other hand could muster only 52 seats; along with UPA, Congress got 91. Other parties won 98 seats. What to talk of equality, Congress party could not win even 55 seats which is the requisite 10 % to become the official opposition. czytaj więcej...czytaj więcej...

KARNATAKA AGAIN

see KARNATAKA DING DONG
I do not know if the friend from Karnataka who rings me up and passes on some dependable horoscopes has deep and dependable contacts in political circles in that state. It is the second time in one year when he gave me a horoscope and got a prediction which clicked.

Last year. he had asked about
Dharam Singh who was the chief minister and got a correct prediction from me about his imminent fall. I had an occasion to refer to it in my lecture in Bangalore in December 2006.

This year, sometime in August, he passed
on to me the horoscope of Yedyurappa and asked me for a prediction, now publicised by the Week. It was explained in my piece on Karnataka Ding Dong, without disclosing the full details of the horoscope of Yedyurappa.

More important for me was the fact that
the BJP which has so far been called only a north Indian party, gets a chance to form a government in south India and make its presence felt there.

For two reasons, it was clear to me that from 2 November, BJP was going to enter a better period and it was easy to predict the success of Yedyurappa.

But it can be seen astrologically, that is
going to be a brief honeymoon with power for Yedyurappa and BJP.

Surprisingly, one Hindi television channel
known for giving only sensational and scandalous coverage was the first to come out with the news on the night of 31 October that 'The Centre will give the go-ahead to  Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur to revoke President's rule in the state on Thursday.
This will pave the way for the first BJP chief minister in the south'.

I was happy to read it as my friend in Karnataka, interested in the rise of
Yediyurappa, will be elated. But the question of question is how long ?

Gradually, the television channels woke up and started giving some coverage to this important news. Now read some of these reports from the websites of different television channels besides hearing the news telecast. In the changed India, hard political news is not a priority of Hindi television channels but important still for some English channels. I hardly know anything of Karnataka politics except what appears in the newspapers .It is a friend astrologer who has been interested in the fate of Karnataka politicians who has passed on two horoscopes which made me know something more of Karnataka politics.
Astrological basis

Venus-Sat-Jupiter from 2 November 2007 using 365 days of Vimshottari dasha. And it is after 2 November that the way got cleared for Yedyurappa.

Having given a prediction I read the newspapers and television news, where ever available.

Watch developments after 2 November when BJP enters Venus-Sat-Jupiter. Here Jupiter is the tenth lord. In transit, Jupiter is aspecting the tenth house and Saturn is on the tenth lord.

In Chara dasha it is Meena dasha from where the Amatyakaraka, Moon is in the ninth house but a strong sixth house showed all the fight before achieving a rare victory to form a government in south India. The antardasha is of Tula from where the Amatyakaraka aspects the tenth house and the eleventh house becomes strong and Venus-Sat-Jupiter ultimately, success. The pratyantara dasha will be of Makara from 11 November, two days after Deewali when the governor of Karnataka will have taken his final decision to invite Yedurappa to form the government.

New Delhi, November 8: Ending the suspense, Centre on Thursday revoked President's rule in Karnataka paving the way for the formation of the first BJP government in south India. The decision was taken by the Union Cabinet two days after the Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur submitted his "final"
report on the BJP-JDS demand for invitation to form the government.
The BJP would be sharing power with the H D Devegowda-led JD (S), whose coalition had collapsed last month on the issue of transfer of power, which led to imposition of President's Rule in the state on October 9.
