FIVE FINE PREDICTIONS
KN RAO
8 December 2008, 8:53 PM
After my serious sickness of 2000, I had decided, rightly, that I should devote whatever remains of my life to promoting our students and make them produce their researches in book form. I am more like a coach now than a player. I reduced drastically my own reading of horoscopes and predicting. My interest in political predictions got reduced so much that I did not collect correct horoscopes of political personalities of India and of other countries unless it came to me unasked for.
Shalini predicts about Hillary Clinton
In 2001, when it was decided to celebrate International Year of Women, I asked twenty women students if there were prepared to write on twenty different famous women of the world and produce a book. They agreed and produced Famous Women (which is soon to go into a second print). In this book, one of the sketches is of Hillary Clinton by Shalini Dhasmana who has been insisting since 2001 that Hillary had a big raja yoga still to be enjoyed. She insisted on the Mithuna lagna of Hillary (which Rodden has given), verified some events of her life and made her prediction.
In 2004, Hillary did not contest elections and Bush was elected for a second term. In 2008, Shalini repeated her prediction. What precisely will be a rajayoga, the post of the president or vice president could not have been specified. Hillary was defeated by Obama and was not even chosen by him to his vice president in the presidential election. Had the prediction of Shalini gone wrong, I wondered. Then came the news of Obama naming her as his Secretary of State, the third woman in succession after Albright and Rice. Shalini’s prediction came out so correct as it has to since she deserved this success with her fastidious, technical sound approach to astrology which I know of and appreciate. I was happy with this great success of hers.
Col. Gour and Obama
Col. Gour got interested in Barack Obama and insisting on his correct lagna being Tula predicted at two stages, first in his battle with Hillary Clinton, that he would be the chosen candidate of Democrats and later, that he would get elected not McCain of the Republican Party. Col Gour thus made two brilliant predictions which proved spectacularly correct. Col Gour also made a successful prediction about Biden the VP.
Marisha Sharma predicts about Biden
But soon after, Marisha Sharma,a brilliant woman engineer, came out with her prediction on Biden using Dwisaptati Sama Dasha. She was nervous when I got it displayed on the website but I was confident of the spectacular success of her prediction. She will have reason to remember it as a big landmark in her astrological career. In the meantime, she has done a fine research on the horoscope of USA (Simha lagna of 4 July 1776).
Livina and her prediction
The first to predict the success of Obama was Livina, the Russian woman scientist who attended one class of mine in Moscow and spent sometime with me in Delhi. She is brilliant and like Col. Gour, she made her prediction about Obama on Tula lagna horoscope. These were international predictions.
In the meantime, five states were going into elections in India and it was a prestigious fight between Congress and BJP in four states, Delhi, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh.
After some major success and two terrible failures in predicting these, I have given it up because to base the entire elections on the basis of two parties and two horoscopes appears to be a wild gamble. I have come to a conclusion that we need ten horoscopes of top men and twenty of middle level politicians out of every hundred to be able to predict with high percentage of success. That is impossible and therefore astrological predictions about the outcome of elections in a democracy with hundreds of candidates fighting against hundreds, is more of a wild guess than sound astrology.
Yet in my research class of junior most students they displayed their skill and one of them, Hemlata Sharma, gave sound astrological logic and wrote the following letter to me.
The results have been:
1) In Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradhya Pradesh the BJP has retained its hold.
2) In Delhi, Congress has retained its hold, suprisingly for a third term. And here comes in the importance of the analysis of Hemlata.
3) In Rajasthan, the BJP,behind Congress has failed to retain its power and again Hemlata is right.

Subject: Prediction regarding the political
parties (Congress & BJP)
Date: Sun, 07 Dec 2008 01:40:30 IST
Respected Sir,
By your due respect I have analyzed the horoscope of both the political parties Congress & BJP. The Meena Lagna of the Congress & the Mithuna Lagna of BJP are quiet powerful but after going deeper I found that may be Congress come into the power because the stability of Congress is more as compared to that of BJP according to the horoscope. After analyzing it is known that Congress may come again into the power. Please have a look & oblige & please forgive if any mistakes are found.
Thanks & best regards
Hemlata Sharma
(Junior Research)
During this period, visitors to my place gave their own assessment and each one guessed partly correctly. Only one woman, wife of a politician, did tell me confidently that Chattisgarh would go the BJP way while the trends throughout the early counting were showing Congress winning.
Nothing works. Whether you are party worker claiming to be a grass root worker, a political analyst, or a psephologist or an astrologer. The astrologer can succeed brilliantly if they had a number of accurate horoscopes of contesting politicians which never happens and is not possible because politicians are known to hide their correct horoscopes.
My addition
I will make an addition. The Congress Party will undergo many changes now, some of them even tragic. Like the horoscope of Independent India, the Congress Party is going through a dasha change synchronizing with a saade saati which are, in my experience, periods of significant, historical changes with tragic hues.
Pakistan’s dasha change has been tragic in the death of Benazir Bhutto and the fall of Pervez Musharraf. We should be prepared for similar changes in India. Like Pakistan, India too is the victim of terrorist plots--the weak government of India and the weaker civilian government of Pakistan unable to prevent it effectively.
